William T. "Bill" Tindall, 78, of Sullivan died at 1:14 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2005 at the Sullivan County Community Hospital . He was born March 28, 1927 in Emerson to Herschel Tindall and Dorothy Huffman Tindall. He was the owner and operator of Tindall's 5 & 10 and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a former member of the board of directors at the Sullivan State Bank and a life member of the Sullivan Elks Club. He presently served on the Center Ridge Cemetery Board and was a former president of the Sullivan County Cancer Society. He was preceded in death by his wife Audra June Hoesman Tindall, his parents and three sisters Jean Knotts, Jane Lookebill and Joy Simpson.

Survivors include one son Ronald "Ron" Tindall and his wife Anita of Sullivan, two sisters Betty McCammon of AR and Susie Winegarden of CA, three grandchildren Thad Tindall and his wife Lacie of Avon, Larry Tindall and his wife Jennifer and Ryan Tindall all of Sullivan, one great grandson Gavin Tindall and other relatives.

Memorial services were at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Eddie Hammond officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Center Ridge Cemetery c/o City Hall 32 N. Court St. Sullivan, IN 47882.
