Mary A. Nash, 94, of Carlisle died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown. She was born November 15, 1911 in Carlisle to Willard Davis and May Starner Davis. She was a homemaker and former librarian at the Carlisle Library. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Carlisle Chapter #185 OES. She was preceded in death by her husband G. Edgar Nash, her parents and one brother Lon R. Davis.
Survivors include one son John Nash and his wife Shirley of Englewood, OH, four brothers R.W. Davis, Stuart, FL, James Davis, Englewood, CA, Jack Davis, Carlisle and WM. Michael Davis, Green Valley , AZ , two sisters Maggie May Davis, Carlisle and Martha Sue Davis of Oaktown, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and other relatives.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Carlisle . Rev. Marilyn Cougar officiated. Burial was in the Carlisle Odd Fellows Cemetery . Pallbearers were Michael Davis, Chuck Davis, Michael G. Davis, Mike Davis, John C. Nash and Jack Davis.
