Leven Wayne Arnett, 69, of Sullivan died at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in his residence. The 1955 graduate of Sullivan High School was born December 24, 1936 in Sullivan to George Arnett and Lottie Abrams Arnett. He was retired from Means Clean Towel and worked as an ironworker and at the Sullivan County Landfill. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James "Jim" Arnett.

Survivors include one son Dane Arnett and his wife Dorene of Atlanta, GA, one daughter Andrea Irr and her husband Rick of Port Richie, Fl, one brother Jerry Arnett of Sullivan, several nephews and nieces and other relatives.

Memorial services will be at a later date with burial in Center Ridge Cemetery . Holmes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
