Norman Philip Gluth, 79, of Scottsdale died at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Hospice of the Valley care Center in Scottsdale . He was born January 4, 1927 ion Williamsville , MO to Taylor Gluth and Cecile Norman Gluth. He was a retired engineer for the Hughes Aircraft Co. and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of the North Scottsdale United Methodist Church . He was preceded in death by his father, one brother William Gluth and one grandchild.
Survivors include his wife Barbara South Gluth of Scottsdale , his mother of Scottsdale , two sons David Gluth of Corona , CA and John Gluth of Scottsdale , five grandchildren and other relatives.
Services were 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. Rev. Marilyn Couger officiated. Burial was in the Carlisle Odd Fellows Cemetery . Soloist was Adele Russell and pallbearers were family members.
