Gerald Lee Sullivan, 66, of Lancaster , SC and formerly of Sullivan died at 1:09 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster . He was born July 25, 1940 in Greene County to Dexter Sullivan and Lucille Price Sullivan. He was the owner of Gerald L. Sullivan Contractors, Inc. and a member of the Sullivan First Christian Church. He was a past president of the Indiana Homebuilders Assn. and the Sullivan County Jaycees. He was a member of the Sullivan Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Terre Haute and the Zorah Shrine Temple . He was a past president of the Dixieland Cruisers, a charter member of the Gold Wings Motorcycle Club of Lancaster and Rock Hill , a member of the Harley Hogs Group of Rock Hills and a member of the Van Wyck Community Center Development Club. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Linda Hege Sullivan of Lancaster , four sons Mark Sullivan of Sullivan, Jeff Davis of Van Wyck, Minor Davis and his wife Cassie of Sullivan and Joseph Davis and his wife Leigh of Bullocks Creek, SC, nine grandchildren Thad Sullivan, Joceyln Sullivan, Dakota Davis, Logan Davis, Camden Davis, Dryden Davis, Tipton Davis, Lauren Davis and Taylor Davis.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Cox and Minor Davis officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Pallbearers were Mark Sullivan, Jeff Davis, Minor Davis, Joseph Davis, Chip Dudley and Kenton Monroe.
