Vera Mae Crane Miller, 101, of Sullivan died at 11:02 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2006 in Miller's Merry Manor. The graduate of Brown's Business College was born September 8, 1905 in Annapolis , IL to Brook Travis Crane and June Finney Crane. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church at Terre Haute , a member of the Safe Water Coalition and was active in the Citizens for Constitutional Government. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty eight years Russell John Miller whom she married September 21, 1924 , her parents and two brothers Floyd Crane and Max Rae Crane.

Survivors include one son Kenneth Ray Miller and his wife Nina of Honolulu, HI, two daughters Louise Holler and her husband William of Manhattan Beach, CA and Marijune Burton and her husband Dwight of Sullivan, eleven grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, twenty two great, great grandchildren, two great,great,great grandchildren and other relatives.

Services were at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Her grandson, Rev. Mark W. Holler officiated. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery , near Marshall , Ill. Pallbearers were grandsons, Steven Miller and Barney Burton; and great-grandsons, Brook Holler, Travis Holler, Chadd Miller, Chase Miller, Aaron Hoffner and Solly Burton.
