Mary Elizabeth Crable, 89, of Terre Haute died at 7:55 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2006 in the Southwood Health Care Facility. The Carlisle High School graduate was born May 28, 1916 in Carlisle to Irvin Hume and Lilly Campbell Hume. She was a retired secretary for the Thompson-Symon Printing Company and a member of the Maplewood Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Waggoner, her second husband Jack Crable, her parents and one brother Thomas "Bill" Hume.

Survivors include one sister Frances Lopez of Ashland , OR , two step daughters Marilyn Groves of Greenwood and Carolyn Malaszenko of Woodstock , IL , a sister in law Mary Hume of Carlisle , three nephews Brad Hume, Jeff Hume and Johnny Lopez, three nieces Peggy Bull, Susan Lopez and Carolyn Melcher, two step grandchildren and other relatives. Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle . Rev. Craig Wininger officiated. Pallbearers were family and friends.
