Richard "Sonny Sunshine" Enstrom, 70, of Hymera died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, June 07, 2006 in his residence. The 1953 graduate of Hymera High School was born December 4, 1935 in Hymera to Harry Enstrom and Cealia Bockman Enstrom. He was an electrician, a member of the IBEW local 725 and a member of the Hymera Independent Community Church . He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Harry "Tom" Enstrom.

Survivors include his wife of thirty seven years Judy Schofield Enstrom of Hymera whom he married June 16, 1968; one son Richard "Rick' Enstrom and his wife Charmaine of Hymera, one daughter Lisa Goodman and her husband Greg of Wilfred, eight grandchildren, special friends the Ed Stuck family of Prairie Creek, four brothers John "Buck" Enstrom of Indianapolis, William "Bill" Enstrom of Jasonville, James "Scot" Enstrom and Gary "Skip" Enstrom both of Hymera, three sisters Myrtle Runyan Of Danville, Linda Stewart of Hymera and Jane Mills of Anderson and other relatives. A celebration of life for family and friends will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hymera Ruritan Building . In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vista Care of the Wabash Valley , Riley Children's Hospital, Saint Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
