Wilma Garrard Exner, 77, of Surprise, AZ died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2006 in her residence. She was born February 10, 1929 in Crawford County , IL to Orval Garrard and Bessie Wolfe Garrard. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sullivan First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of forty seven years Donald "Don" Exner of Surprise, AZ whom she married November 9, 1958, two sons Gary Exner and his wife Mary of Loveland, CO and Douglas Exner and his wife Robin of Centennial, CO, one daughter Jeanette Exner Kerley and her husband John of Piedmont, CA, four sisters Juanita Hoesman and her husband Henry, Doris Stanley and her husband Harry, Shirley Bennett and her husband Jack and Mary Gadberry and her husband Tom all of Sullivan, IN, five grandchildren Jacob Exner, Samuel Exner, Levi Exner, Allison Kerley and Benjamin Kerley and other relatives. Services were at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Shaker Prairie Christian Church near Carlisle, IN. Rev. Bill Burris officiated. Burial was in the Shepherd Cemetery . Pallbearers were Gary Exner, Douglas Exner, Ron Stanley, Don Hoesman, Mike Bennett and Ben Gadberry.
