Emmett Lloyd Wright, 95, of Washington and formerly of Sullivan died at 1:04 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in the Memorial Hospital at Jasper. He was born January 17, 1911 in Sullivan to Lloyd Wright and Clara Dickey Wright. He was a retired electrician and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Clark Wright, one son Edgar Lloyd Wright, his parents, seven brothers Leo Wright, Henry "Hank" Wright, Clem Wright, Robert Wright, Guy Wright, Gilbert Wright and Charles Wright, four sisters Veneda Harnden, Levera Kennedy, Iva Ammerman and Wanda Wright.

Survivors include two daughters Elizabeth Wright of Oden and Kathryn Rose Rink and her husband Randall of Washington, three grandchildren Jon Rink, Tim Rink and Edgar Wright, five great grandchildren and other relatives.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. EST Friday at the Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan. Visitation is noon until time of services Friday at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan.
