Debbie Elizabeth Rodriguez, 47, of Sullivan died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 1978 graduate of South Newton High School was born August 7, 1960 in Chicago to Ellis Ray Lanier and Carlene White Lanier Judson. She was an insurance arbitrator for Davis Claims Service of Terre haute and a member of the Sullivan Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by a step brother William "Billy" Judson.

Survivors include one daughter Jessica Rodriguez of Sullivan, her mother of Sullivan, her father of Mineral Bluff, GA, two brothers Raymond Lanier and his wife Gail of Mitchell, SD and William Bret Chastain and wife Tenneal of Sullivan, one sister Kathy Anderson and her husband Ernie of Jasonville and other relatives.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gary Larimer officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bret Chastain, Max Judson, Todd Wolfe, Tony Shipman, Bruce White and Russ Robertson.
