Wendell Oliver Harris, 84, of Sullivan died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday. December 13, 2007 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. The 1941 graduate of Sullivan High School was born April 3, 1923 in Fairbanks to James Harris and Myrtle Trueblood Harris. He was a retired motor repairman for Davidson Electric and Machine Shop and a former employee of Riggs Hardware. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Douglas Harris and two sisters Redith Fritzlan and Vivian Harris.
Survivors include a special friend Linda Woodruff of Shelburn.
Services were at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Randall Butler officiated. Burial was in the Pogue Cemetery at Fairbanks.
