Mark Alan Flynn, 52, of Carlisle died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007 at his residence. The 1973 graduate of Sullivan High School was born March 24, 1955 in Gary to Horace Flynn and Thelma Alt Flynn. He was a laborer and a member of the Shaker Prairie Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Dennis Flynn.

Survivors include his wife of twenty seven years Susan Bolenbaugh Flynn of Carlisle whom he married April 19, 1980, one son Colt Ryan Flynn at home, one daughter Alyssa Marie Flynn at home, one brother Bernard Flynn of Monroe, LA, two sisters Becky Norris of Carlisle and Bonnie McKinley of Paxton and other relatives. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Carlisle First Christian Church with Bill Sam Phegley officiating. Private burial will be in the Shepherd Cemetery near Carlisle.
