Wanda Cummings,77, of Merom died at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. The 1948 graduate of Merom High School was born March 26, 1930 in Merom to Neal Coyner and Marguerite Bowen Coyner. She was retired from the International Division of the Boys Scouts of America. She was a member of the Kingsley United Methodist Church and a graduate of Indiana State University. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Cummings and her parents.

Survivors include her companion Wayne Vonderlow of Merom, one sister Karen McKain of Sullivan, five nieces Teresa Smith and her husband Bruce of Paris, IL, Mackenzie Smith, Kendall Smith, Kaylan McKain and Sarah McKain, two nephews Brad McKain and his wife Rita of Sullivan and J.R. McKain and other relatives.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Merom with Revs. Paul Myers, Paul Gettinger and Jim Beery officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Merom Cemetery.
