Chloe Charley, 95, of New Lebanon died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, June 08, 2007 at the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The Sullivan High School graduate was born August 6, 1911 in Linton to Joshua Asbury and Hattie Faulk Asbury. She was retired from American Latex. She was a member of the Oakland Church of Christ and attended the First Baptist Church . She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Oran Charley who died June 5, 1994 , also her parents, two brothers Joe Asbury and Guy Asbury and one sister Geneva McDowell.

Survivors include one son Jerry Charley and his wife Karen of Sullivan, one daughter Geneva Fitch and her husband Joe of Sullivan five grandchildren, several great grandchildren and other relatives. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Mt. Zion Cemetery at New Lebanon with Rev. Mitch Hoesman officiating. Visitation is 5-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan.
