Shirley Ann Holladay, 78, of Hymera died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. The 1947 graduate of Willey High School was born May 20, 1929 in Detroit, MI to William and Etta Feltrop. She was a retired school nurse at the Northeast School Corporation. She was a graduate of St. Mary's College, Indiana State University and the Union Hospital School of Nursing. She was a fifty year member of the Hymera Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, a member of Tri Kappa Sorority, the Hymera Homemakers Club, The Sullivan County Teachers Association and the Indiana State Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of fifty six years David Winston Holladay of Hymera whom she married June 5, 1951, three sons David Holladay and his wife Janet of Baton Rogue, LA, Damon Holladay of Ellettsville and Durward Holladay and his wife Sherry of Hymera, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and other relatives.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan with Revs. Don Ransford and Harold Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the K of P Cemetery near Hymera. Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday with OES services at 7:00 p.m.
