Juanita Ruth Cox, 86, of Sullivan died Thursday, April 5, 2007 in the Indiana University Medical Center at Indianapolis . She was born August 4, 1920 in Sullivan to Edgar Ridge and Lula Daily Ridge. She was an Insurance Agent for Aflac Insurance Co. and a member of the First Baptist Church . She was a fifty member of the Sullivan Chapter 188 Order of the Eastern Star, the Sullivan American Legion Post 139 Women's Auxiliary and the Sullivan VFW Post 2459 Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers Casey Ridge , Wayne Ridge , Roland Ridge , Lester Ridge and Sam Ridge and two sisters Mary McCulloch and Rebecca "Becky" Arnett.

Survivors include three sons Franklin E. "Frank" Cox and his wife Shirley of Merietta, GA, Brent Cox and Brad Cox both of Sullivan, one daughter Sharon Sue Cox of Sullivan, five grandchildren Dwayne Cox, Brian Cox, Darin Cox, Joshua Cox and Shawn Cox, two great grandchildren and other relatives.

Services were at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tim Fleace officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Pallbearers were Dwayne Cox, Brian Cox, Darin Cox, Shawn Cox, Greg Wolfe, and Bud Fulford. Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd "Red" Boles and Tom Booker.
