June Ellen Walters, 75, of Sullivan died at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 in the Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jasonville. She was born June 4, 1931 in Sullivan to Frank Walters and Elsie Johnson Walters. She was a homemaker and a member of the Word of Life Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Harold Walters, Hubert Walters, Frank Walters and Robert Walters and four sisters Irene Dudley, Maxine Squires, Ruby Payne and Goldvinia Walters.

Survivors include three sisters Nettie Stevens of Clearwater , FL , Marjorie Phillippe of Jonesboro and Betty Street of Jasonville, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jeff Canfield officiated. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery . Pallbearers were family and friends.
