Beverly J. "Bev" Vickrey, 83, of Sullivan died at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 in the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 1942 graduate of Sandborn High School was born June 14, 1924 in Sandborn to Bert Lind and Blanche Crecelius Lind. She was a homemaker, beautician and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Vera L. Faulk, Elizabeth Byram and her twin sister Barbara J. Lawhead, three brothers Theron Lind, Loren Lind and Ernest Lind.

Survivors include her husband of fifty four years Thomas "Tom" Vickrey of Sullivan whom she married May 9, 1953, three daughters Vera Jean Vickrey of Newburgh, Sarah Ann Brown and Kimberly Beth Cox and her husband Mark all of Sullivan, eight grandchildren, Christa Lammers, Carrie Lammers, Katie Shackelford, Tom Lammers, Tom Thacker, Micah Thacker, Samantha Meier and Tommy Brown, four great grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul McGlasson officiating. Burial will be in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m. Sunday.
