James Odell Moseley, 75, of Merom died at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, June 01, 2008 in his residence. The U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War was born August 17, 1932 in McAlester, OK to J,G, Moseley and Mary Gibson Moseley. He was a retired hard rock miner. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Billy Gettler.
Survivors include his wife of fifty one years Darlene Pearson Moseley of Merom whom he married September 15, 1956, three sons Greg Moseley and Jeff Moseley and wife Alicia all of Merom and Brad Moseley of Boston, MA, one daughter Steffani Davis of Merom, one brother Brownley Moseley of Ceres, CA, one sister Naomi Pawlowski of Ceres, six grandchildren Mitchel Davis, Aubrey Davis, Jesse Davis, Jeffrey Moseley, James Gettler and Rhianna Moseley, three great grandchildren and other relatives.
Graveside services with military rites by the Sullivan, Shelburn and Hymera American Legions and the Sullivan Veterans of Foreign Wars will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Merom Cemetery with Rev. Paul Gettinger officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan.
