Janet C. "Jan" Wilson, 59, of Sullivan died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008 in her residence. The 1967 graduate of Bel Air High School was born August 26, 1948 in Neptune, NJ to John Ackerman and Marian Buckman Ackerman. She was a registered nurse at the AP&S Main Clinic and a retired Lt. Colonel of the US Air Force serving as Clinical Nurse and Flight Nurse. She was a member of the Whosoever Will Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death her parents and one son Robby Wilson.

Survivors include her husband of twenty three years Joe M. Wilson of Sullivan whom she married February 26, 1985, one son Mark Wilson and his wife Rita, one adopted son George Merritt, one adopted daughter Laura Merritt, two sisters J.C, Ackerman and Joan Ackerman, three grandchildren and other relatives.

There are no services or visitation. Holmes Memorial Chapel, Sullivan is in charge of arrangements.
