Mary K. Reid, 82, of Sullivan died at 10:25 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 in the Breckenridge Health and Living Center. The 1944 graduate of Sullivan High School was born December 23, 1925 in Sullivan to Monroe Griggs and Fredia Theal Griggs. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Margaret Woodard, Vera Moss and Francis Campbell.

Survivors include her husband of fifty five years Nelson Dean Reid of Sullivan whom she married April 18, 1952, one son Gary D. Reid and his wife Lisa of Sullivan, one daughter Dee Ann Hostetler and her husband Thomas of Mooresville, one sister Dorothy Wilkes of Sullivan, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan with Rev. Dale Wise officiating. Burial will be in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Reid, Aaron Reid, Brian Wilkes, Tom Hostetler, Rick Hostetler and Dave Hostetler. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
