Alex M. "Scotty" Wilson, 86, of Shelburn died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 in the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 1939 graduate of Shelburn High School was born September 30, 1921 in Shelburn to George Wilson and Jeanette McInnis Wilson. He retired from the animal research department at Pfizer's and was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Bible View Baptist Church and the Shelburn American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Jeannie Wilson, two brothers Don Wilson and George Wilson, Jr. and two sisters Agnes Mabis and Betty Kimmell.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years Jean White Wilson of Shelburn whom he married March 8, 1947 and other relatives.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Little Flock Cemetery at Shelburn with Pastor Larry Kimmell officiating. Holmes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
