Mary Louise Douglas, 94, of Jasonville died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at her residence. The 1931 graduate of Union High School was born July 20, 1913 in Sullivan to Henry Marshall and Edna Harris Marshall. She was a homemaker, a member of the Friendly Grove Baptist Church, the Linton Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Pythian Sisters at Dugger. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Loren C. Douglas, one brother James Marshall and one sister Ella Reynolds.

Survivors include three daughters Betty Peeler of Sullivan, Pat Darnall and her husband David of Memphis, TN and Judy Williams of Jasonville, three grandchildren Doug Darnall, Mike Peeler and Dan Peeler, six great grandchildren, seven great, great grandchildren and other relatives. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan with Rev. Brad West officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday with Eastern Star services at 7:00 p.m.
