Timothy Reed Burns, 59, of Lone Star, TX passed away at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 at his residence. The 1968 graduate of Sullivan High School was born November 16, 1949 in Sullivan to Roy Patrick Burns and LaDonna Sevier Burns. He was an employee for U.S. Steel for thirty years and a member of the United Steel Workers Union. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Keith Burns and Denny Burns.
Survivors include two sons Kevin Burns of Daingerfield, TX and John Burns of Longview, TX, four grandchildren and other relatives
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Center Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Timothy Fleace officiating. Holmes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
