Richard A. "Dick" Wright, 67, of Clinton passed away at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Union Hospital in Clinton. The 1961 graduate of North Central High School was born January 28, 1943 in Sullivan to Robert Wright and Elizabeth Norris Wright. He was a retired boiler operator for the Eli Lilly, a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and a member of the Fairview Church of Christ at Clinton. He was preceded in death by one son Jonathon Wright and his father.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years Linda Wills Wright of Clinton whom he married October 20, 1984, one son Christopher(and Wanda)Wright, Evans, GA, two daughters Annette (and Brian) Powers, Greensburg and Desiree Donoho (and Tony) McCarter, Decker, his mother of Hymera, two brothers Robert (and Shelia) Wright, Fairbanks and Ricky Wright, Linton, two sisters Sondra (and Ron) Wells, Hymera and Sharon (and Darrel) Burnett, Sullivan, a special family friend Clay Lester, Farmersburg three grandchildren Allyse Roberts, Sheridan Roberts and Morgan McCarter and other relatives.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan with Rev. Norman Santus officiating. Burial will be in the Pogue Cemetery at Fairbanks. Casket bearers will be Christopher Wright, Clay Lester, Brian Powers, Tony McCarter, Rick Wright and Melvin Wright. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. until time of services Friday.
