James Silvio "Jim" Peloso, 75, of Sullivan passed away at 9:00 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1934 in Caspian, MI to Silvio Peloso and Regina Leonardi Peloso. He was a retired microbiologist for the Ely Lilly Co. at Greenfield and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his second wife Marybelle Burch Peloso, his parents and one sister Ines Peloso.

Survivors include his wife Betty Lou Workman Peloso, Sullivan, one son John Peloso, Greenfield, one daughter Susan (and Tony) Nowak, St. Louis, MO, two step sons David (and Jennifer) McMahan, St. Joseph, MO and Kevin (and Kim) McMahan, Mooresville, one brother Bruno (and Nancy) Peloso, Iron River, MI, eight grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation is noon until time of services Thursday.
