Jackie D. "Jack" Bogard, 69, of Merom passed away at 11:57 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 1960 graduate of Sullivan High School was born August 28, 1942 in Sullivan to Lewis Bogard and Deloris Shake Bogard. Jack, retired from Ceres solutions after thirty-eight years of service. He was a member of the Indiana National Guards and the New Lebanon United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years Wanda R. Collins Bogard of Merom whom he married November 10, 1962, one son Kevin (and Dodi) Bogard, Canton, OH, one daughter Debbie (and Mike) Bezy, Carlisle, two sisters Melody (and Clay) Wright, Hot Springs, AR and Karen Foster, CA, five grandchildren Kori Bogard, Cincinnati, OH, Kala Bogard, Terre Haute, Karly Bogard, Canton, OH, Brittany Bezy, W. Lafayette and Jackie Bezy, Carlisle and other relatives. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near New Lebanon. Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
