Karen K McKain age 71, of Sullivan passed away at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Terre Haute Regional hospital. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Sullivan to Emil Bill Coyner and Marguerite Bowen Coyner. She was a 1958 graduate of Sullivan High school and was preceded in death by her husband Ronald E. McKain whom she married June 6, 1959, and her sister Wanda Cummings.

She is survived by a son Brad McKain and his wife Rita of Findlay, OH, daughter Teresa Smith and her husband Bruce of Paris, IL, five grandchildren Kaylan McKain, Sarah McKain, J.R. McKain, Mackenzie Smith and Kendall Smith.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Gettinger officiating. Burial will be in the Merom Cemetery, Merom, IN. Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of services. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral Home.
