Carrie A. Smith 29, of Sullivan passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 2001 graduate of North Central High School was Born March 6, 1982 in Sullivan Co. to Mike Smith and Jill Nash Smith.

Survivors include her father Mike Smith of NC, her mother Jill Smith and her companion Bill Mahan of Fairbanks, her fiancé Jeffery McMahan of Sullivan, two children Christopher Michael Meyerholtz and Jalynn Alumbaugh, paternal grandmother Jenny Smith of Vincennes, maternal grandparents John and Janet Nash of Fairbanks, sister Tori Smith of Sullivan, half sister Jennifer Crocket of NC, half brother Mike Crocket of NC, one uncle Glen Nash of Sullivan, one aunt Debra Wilson, a niece Katelyn Sowell, a nephew Briar Sowell and several cousins , she was preceded in death is her paternal grandfather Doyle Smith.

Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hammond officiating. Visitation will begin at 3 pm until time of service. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expenses, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
