Mildred Josephine Ridgway,85, of Carlisle went home to be with her Heavenly Father at 1:15 pm Monday, February 14, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor with her family at her bedside. The 1943 graduate of Oaktown High School was born July 31, 1925 to Roy Clodfelder and Mary N'meier Clodfelder. She was a homemaker, a member of the Shaker Prairie Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary . She was preceded in death by her husband Steve M. Ridgway, her parents, one brother Arthur Clodfelder and one sister Helen Emma Elizabeth Clodfelder.

Josephine, was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and an encouragement to all those she knew and loved. She is survived by three sons George (and Janice) Ridgway, Bloomington, Dale (and Pam) Ridgway, Lincoln, IL and Rick (and Terri) Ridgway, Carlisle, five grandchildren Carmen Ridgway, Collette (and Kevin) Donnar, Susan (and Joe) Brooks, Bethany Ridgway and Jessica Ridgway, three great grandchildren Carson Donnar, Elania Donnar and Colton Brooks and other relatives.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Harold Hatfield officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your charity of choice. Holmes Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
