Ruth L. Neal, 87, of Sullivan and formerly of Jasonville passed away at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Breckenridge Health and Living Center. She was born September 30, 1923 in Worthington to Albert Vandeventer and Ada Perkins Vandeventer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Herschell Orman, her second husband Robert L. Neal, one son Larry J. Orman, her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include three sons William E. (Connie) Neal, Murfreesboro, TN, Robert "Bob" (Rebecca) Neal, Martinsville and Jerry L. (Jan) Orman, Rolling Prairie, one daughter Vickie Lynn ( Dana) Pierce, Sullivan, seven grandchildren, six step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery at Midland. Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Friday.
