Brock Andrew Bedwell, 21, of Carlisle passed away at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 2009 graduate of Sullivan High School was born December 19, 1989 in Vincennes to Randall "Randy" Bedwell and Susan Kay Detering Bedwell. Brock was a member of the Indian Prairie Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Rollie Bedwell.

Survivors include his parents of Carlisle, one brother Josh Wayne Bedwell, Carlisle, his paternal grandmother Betty Bedwell, Carlisle, his maternal grandparents Don and Pam Detering, Freelandville and other relatives. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel, Sullivan with Rev. Glen Archer officiating. Burial will be in the Indian Prairie Cemetery, Carlisle. Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brock Bedwell Memorial Fund at the funeral home or any branch of the First Financial Bank, 15 S. Main St., Sullivan, IN 47882.
