Janet Rose Daugherty, 70, of Sullivan passed away at 5:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. The 1958 graduate of Sullivan High School was born April 17, 1941 in Merom to Austin Rusk and Charlotte Smith Rusk. She was a medical clerk for the Clearvista Women's Hospital and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Barbara Bogard.

Survivors include one son Jeff Daugherty, Indianapolis, one brother Robert (and Juanita) Gray, Palestine, IL, two sisters Martha (and Paul) McCammon, Sullivan and Norma Burns, Merom, two grandchildren Alexandra and Sydney Daugherty and other relatives.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Timothy Fleace officiating. Burial will be in the Merom Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m. Thursday.
