Linton IN Jimmy Wayne Hollon, 56, of Linton IN formerly of Sullivan passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis IN. He was born on May 4, 1955 to Robert S. Hollon and LaVella Minor Hollon in Petersburg IN. Jimmy was a 1973 Graduate of Sullivan High school, a Correctional Officer in the Lawrenceville Correctional Facility, and a member of the Sullivan Jaycees, he was a donor for the Indiana Eye Bank, giving sight to others in need. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister Sondra Lee Hollon, his father in-law Gilbert Gress, his and mother in-law Leota Gress. Survivors include his mother, his wife Debra Lee Dove Hollon of Linton, Two brothers Mike Hollon and his wife Gayle of VA, Tim Hollon of KS, one sister Vickie Hollon of Sullivan, a son Trent Hollon of Ft. Campbell KY, step children Dana Dove of Linton, Nathan Dove and his wife Lisa of Linton, Fawn Dove of Linton, Darin Taylor of Hutsonville IL, Karin Bolenbaugh of Sullivan and Les Bolenbaugh of Whiteman AFB, three sisters in-law Wanda Colvin and her husband Don, of Montgomery, Pam Sailer of Centralia IL, and Audra Gress of Anderson IN, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at the Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 26, 2011 with Bro. Keith Belcher officiating. Burial will be at Sugarland Memory Gardens in Washington IN. Visitation will be on Friday 4 to 8 p.m.
