Sullivan IN, Juanita Hoesman, 85, of Sullivan, passed away at 5:45pm on Thursday November 10, 2011 in Sullivan County Community Hospital. The 1945 graduate of New Lebanon High School was born to Orval O. Garrard and Bessie M. Wolfe Garrard. Juanita was happy and content to be a homemaker, mother and working outside in the yard and on the farm. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed having children and grandchildren visit for meals. Preceded in death are her parents, two sisters Wilma Exner, Shirley Bennett and her husband Jack, and a brother-in -law Harry Stanley. Survivors include her husband Henry E. Hoesman whom she married on March 22, 1947, three sons Everett "Gene" Hoesman (his friend Mary Paige) of Sullivan, Donald Hoesman (Cheryl) of Terre Haute, Ross Hoesman (Holly) of Sullivan, a daughter Sophie Lasure (Keith) of Greenwood SC, two sisters Doris Stanley of Sullivan and Mary Gadberry (Tom) of Sullivan, brother in-law Don Exner of Surprise, AZ, 9 grandchildren Kim Butterfield (Tim) of Bourbonnais IL, Amanda Zink (Corey) of Bourbonnais IL, Audra Vogel (Adam) of Kankakee IL, Amy Hoesman of Studio City CA, Allison Hoesman (Mike Kimberlin) of Bradley IL, Brian Lasure of Waldron IN, Chad Lasure (JoEllen) of Ft. Mill SC, Clint Hoesman (Jamie) of Riley, and Curt Hoesman (Elizabeth) of Brazil and 14 great grandchildren. Services will be on Tuesday November 15, at 11:30am at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan with Rev. Mitch Hoesman officiating. Burial will be in the Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service.
