Sullivan Madge Chubb, 81, of Shelburn went home to meet her savior at 10: 08 a.m. on Friday May 18, 2012 at Sullivan County Community Hospital. She was born June 27, 1930 in New Orleans, LA., to William Wise and Clara Murray Wise. She is survived by a daughter Lanna Brunton Thomason (Robert) of Sullivan, a son William Chubb (Jeanette) of Shawneetown, IL., and five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Jack Leon Chubb in 2000. She was a member of the Shelburn Church of God where she had been the organist and pianist for many years. Her viewing will be Monday, May 21, 2012 for 10:00am until time of service at 1:00PM at Holmes Memorial Chapel in Sullivan, IN. The service will be officiated by Pastor J.F. Rehmel, and interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn.
