Sullivan, IN Alice Coralie Arnett, 85, of Sullivan went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 30, 2012. She passed away at 11:20 a.m. at Union Hospital, Terre Haute. She was born December 20, 1926 in Sullivan to Luther and Joy Arnett Owens. She was a member of the First Baptist Church the majority of her life. Coralie married to her husband Charles Arnett on May 30, 1942 by Rev. C.B. Atkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother Charles Owens and one sister Lucille Sparks. Survivors include her daughter Joanne (Ray) Quast, Sullivan one grandson Shawn Quast and one great granddaughter Sage Quast. Coralie was first a wife and homemaker to her husband Charles, who were married sixty years. She lived life to its fullness by reading, working in her yard and playing games with family members and friends, she also loved her church family. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Fleace officiating. Burial will be in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and before services Thursday. Those whom wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the church.
