Clinton, Merom - Lawrence (Larry) H. Crum, Jr. Lawrence (Larry) Crum, age 75, passed away on Friday, February 03, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor, Sullivan, Indiana. He was born on March 17, 1936 to Lawrence and Hazel Crum of Bono, Indiana. He attended schools in the Bono and Dana areas and proudly served in the US Army. Larry was a member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge Jerusalem #99 and was a Korean Conflict veteran. On July 17, 1961, he was united in marriage to the late Patricia (Patty) Heskett, she preceded him in death on December 11, 1995. The children from that marriage, Michael Anthony, Mila Ann (Daniel) Stahl and Mark Alan survive him. On June 27, 1997 he married the former Patricia (Patty) Wheeler, who also survives him. He is further survived by his two brothers; Tom (Dorothy) and Jim, his sister; Naomi Plog, his grandchildren; Dylan, Marissa, Mitchell and Gavan Crum and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in Sullivan, Indiana at Holmes Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Services will begin a 6 p.m. with Rev. Dale Wise officiating, followed by a dinner gathering at the First Christian Church of Sullivan. A visitation will also be conducted at Salem United Methodist Church, Hillsdale, Indiana on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with services at 11a.m with Rev. Bill Felts officiating. There will be a luncheon provided afterwards at Salem Church. Burial will be at Helts' Prairie Cemetery, Hillsdale, next to his first wife. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Clinton American Legion Post # 140 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6653.
