James D "Jim" Stevens 69, of Sullivan passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2012. He was born in Sullivan Co. on September 8, 1943 to Woodrow Stevens and Barbara Prose Stevens Garrard. He was a graduate Bunker Hill High School in 1960, was a Navy Veteran and employed by TRW in Marshall IL. Preceding Jim in death were his father and a half brother Mike Garrard. Surviving is his mother Barbara Garrard, three brothers John of Kissimmee FL, Joe of Cloverdale, Jack of Merom, half-sister Tammy Owens of Greencastle, Two sons Shane and Brent of Jasonville, six grandchildren Chase, Dakota, Erica, Megan, Christa, Candace, And several nieces and nephews Memorial services for Jim will be Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Merom United Methodist Church in Merom, IN. at 2:00PM. Holmes Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
