Richard A. Skinner, 58, of Sullivan, passed away on Monday February 25, 2013. He was born on September 19, 1954 in Vigo Co. to Leslie Skinner and Phyllis Chubb Skinner Shake. Richard was a 1972 graduate of North Central High School. He loved playing music, riding motorcycles, his grandchildren, dogs and was also a Teamster for the Local 135. Survivors include his wife Sheri Jackson Skinner, his former wife Candy Skinner, sister Cindy Dirker ( Steve )of Martinsville, two daughters, Jessica Skinner and her companion Jeff Carson of Terre Haute, Jenny Skinner and her companion Thad Walton of Indianapolis, 2 step daughters Brooke (Matthew) Truxal of Terre Haute, Hillary (Matthew) Smith of Clinton, a step son Patrick (Jenelle) Morgan of Fishers, a nephew Matthew Skinner of Terre Haute, eight grandchildren, Zane Carson, Alexander Carson, Kennedy Helderman, Xander Truxal, Grady Truxal, Cole Smith, Morgan Smith and Maeleigh Morgan. Memorial services for Richard will be 11 am on Saturday March 9, 2013 at the Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9 until the time of services. Immediately following services there will be a Celebration of Life taking place at the Shelburn American Leigon Post. In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Sullivan Co. Humane Society.
