Betty C. Davis, 90, of Sullivan, IN. passed away at 8:53PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born December 11, 1922 in James Creek, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Helen Brumbaugh Harbaugh. Betty graduated from Williamsburg High School in Williamsburg, Pa. After high school, Betty worked in several government positions including the CIA. Betty loved life, family, traveling, and lived in many states with her husband, including living in Yokohama, Japan. She had a special love in her heart for dogs and birds, especially Humming Birds. She was an avid bird watcher, feeding them daily at her home in Sullivan. Betty is survived by her husband, Melvin R. "Dick" Davis whom she was married to for 61 years. She also leaves behind a sister Donna Logan, of Altoona, PA, several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Her parents and a brother Kirby Harbaugh preceded her in death. Memorial services will be Monday, 1 pm. February 18, 2013 in Center Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Don Ransford officiating.
