Jackie A. Cole, 52, of Hymera, passed away October 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1961 in Sullivan, IN to Jack M. Cole and Margaret J. Swiger Cole of Hymera. He was retired from Indiana Laborers District Council and was a member of Laborers Local 204 for 36 years. He attended Hymera Elementary School and North Central High School. Jackie was very involved in baseball and basketball during his youth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. He married Judy A. Raley on August 24, 1979. He was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey A. Cole, his mother Margaret Jane Swiger Cole and a brother-in-law Eugene Raley. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 34 years, Judy A. Cole, a daughter Kimberly B. Haseman and her husband Shane, two grandsons Blake and Billy Haseman of Hymera, his father Jack M. Cole of Hymera, sisters Janie (Bob) Maxwell, Melissa (Doug) Wade, Joanna (James) Turner, and Katy (John) Tomey all of Hymera, his mother and father-in-law Lillis and Everett Raley of Hymera, and a sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Phil Ivy of Hymera, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at Emmanual Apostolic Church in Hymera on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 10:00am until of time of service. Interment will be in Knights of Pythius Cemetery in Hymera. Brother James Ward will be officiating the service.
