Maudie Wilson Bye, 86, of Shelburn passed away on Saturday February 16, 2013 at her home. She was born in Sullivan Co. on December 8, 1926, to Cammie Denver Higgins and Laurel May LeFler Higgins. Maudie was a 1944 graduate of Sullivan High, a homemaker, and mother of four children. Preceding her in death are her parents, her first husband John Charles Wilson, her second husband Robert O. Bye, a grandson Bruce Robinson Wilson a son-in law Walter Prater Surviving members are two sons James (Vera) Wilson of Murfreesboro TN, Charles Wilson of Tiptonville TN, Two daughters Cammie Smith of Shelburn, Brenda Stelle of Woodlands TX, seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Maudie will be on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Holmes Memorial Chapel on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.Guestbook
