Wm. Terry Pless, Jr., 44, of Carlisle passed away Friday, May 17, 2013. Terry was born in Bloomington June 28, 1968 to Terry and Marie Edwards Pless. He was a 1986 graduate of Sullivan High School. Terry worked at Pfizer's in Terre Haute for 21 years and was employed at Sunrise Coal Mine in Carlisle. He also helped his brother-in-law David Phegley farm. He was a member of the Carlisle Masonic Lodge # 3 F & AM. He enjoyed golfing, farming and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ray and Juanita Pless, Bernard and Lizzie Edwards and his mother-in-law Irene Unger. Survivors include his wife Lisa Unger Pless whom he married on March 21, 1994, his parents, one sister Nikki (and Darin) Sisil of Sullivan, one brother Troy (and his companion Betsy Lovell) of Sullivan, four nieces Cortney Emmons, Shae Doty, Peyton and Addison Sisil, Three nephews Eli Emmons, Thad Sullivan and Andy Doty, great nephew Layne Emmons, and faithful, devoted and spoiled K-9 friends Sarge, Willie and Zippy. Visitation for Terry will be at the Holmes Memorial Chapel on Monday May 20, 2013 from 4-8:00 pm with Masonic services given by the Carlisle Lodge # 3 at 7:00 pm. Services will be on Tuesday 11:00 am with Rev. Harold Hatfield officiating. The family requests that friends, staff and clergy be dressed casual during visitation and services. Burial will take place at the Merom Cemetery.
