Lucy Irene Lewis, 92, of Shelburn passed away on October 16, 2014 at Breckenridge Health and Rehab. She was born in Martin County, Indiana on September 25, 1922, to Agustis and Jenny Padgett Strange. Lucy was a homemaker who loved and cherished all her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed dancing and playing Bingo. Preceded in death are her parents, a son Tony Lewis, two daughters Brenda Lewis and Linda Lewis.

Survivors include her sons Chris Lewis of Shelburn, Walter (Nancy) Lewis of Sullivan, Bill Lewis of Minnesota, Steve Lewis of Farmersburg, Jeff Lewis of Sullivan, one daughter Joann (Augie) Martin of Sullivan, two sisters Victoria Irvin of Sullivan ,Maggie of West Branch, MI, ten grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date. Services were entrusted to Holmes Memorial Chapel.
