Melissa Harris, 44, of Sullivan passed away on Thursday June 25, 2015 at her residence. She was born on August, 26, 1970 in Chicago IL to Jack and Nikki (Downs) Harris. She was a 1988 graduate of Northeast High School in Clarksville TN. She was a member of the Sullivan VFW Women's Aux, and loved spending time with her grandson and family. She was preceded in death by her mother Nikki, and her grandmother Jane Stevens. Survivors include her father Jack and his companion Sharon Higginbotham of Sullivan, daughters Courtney Harris and her husband Ryan Voigtman of Sullivan, Brittney Orman of Terre Haute, a sister Jayne (William) Dixon of Adams TN, and a grandchild Marshall Voigtman. The family of Melissa Harris will celebrate her life at a later date.
