Ronald "Ronnie" D. Hay, 70, of Terre Haute, passed away on May 8, 2015 at the Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Vigo Co on July 26, 1944 to Lee and Irene Shipman Hay. Ronnie had retired from the Human Resource Center in Paris IL; he was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Army and member of the American Legion Post 777 in Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Robert and Larry Hay. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Marcia Faris Hay whom he married on August 17, 1974, two daughters Amy (Jimmy) Holbert of West Terre Haute, Christie (Derek) Roberts of West Terre Haute, a brother Eddie Hay of CO, a brother in-law Dayton (Becky) Faris of Terre Haute, eight Grandchildren Alexis Clifford, Matthew Hinkel, Katie Hay, Jacob Holbert, Allison Wampler, Caleb Wampler, Drake Holbert, and Hunter Holbert. Services for Ronnie will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Greiner Funeral Home with Pastor Meril Weir officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Military Grave Rites will be given by the VFW Post 972. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
