Valeda M. Timmons 85, of Sullivan, passed away at 7:20am, on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Signature Health Care in Terre Haute. She was born on March 1, 1930 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Wayne Steward and Pearl Howell Steward. Valeda is survived by daughters Denice Shryock (Mike) of Clinton, IN., Deborah Timmons of Sullivan, a son Timothy Timmons, grandchildren Chad Shryock (Richelle) and Dan Shryock (Laura), and six great-grandchildren. Preceding her death were her parents, and her husband C.W. "Bill" Timmons on January, 17, 2000. They were married on April 17, 1949. Valeda will ever be remember in Sullivan as the Sales Clerk in Tindall's Appliance Department. She was a member of Sullivan 1st Christian Church, Missionary Unit #6, Alpha Delphin, and the Red Hat Society. Private services will be held at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dale Wise officiating, and interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery.
