Nancy Leah Hancock was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Nancy began her life journey on July 29, 1936 in Sullivan, Indiana. Born the daughter of Gerald Brown and Leona May (Reid) Dotson. She attended Sullivan High School. On January 16, 1958 she married her life partner Charles Hancock.

Nancy attended Temple Baptist Church of Carlisle. Once Nancy and Charles were retired, they decided they were going to travel. In those year you could find them traveling the United State in a camper making memories with family. Nancy had a love for books. She was constantly reading. Family was extremely important to Nancy. She was a housewife and spent her days taking care of her children.

Those awaiting her Heavenly arrival are her parents, son in law LJ Watson; brothers, John Michael Brown and Gerald Brown; as well as two grandchildren Scott Hancock, and Lisa Dawn.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Hancock; son, James Joseph Hancock (Janet); daughters, Julie Watson and Lisa Hancock; sisters, Charlotte Ann Turley, and Karen Beth Dalton; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The family request’s you join them at Center Ridge Cemetery, on Monday, April 28th, 2025 for a Graveside service at 11:00 AM.
